New Heights mega-producer RedOne is kicking off his new label venture, 2101 Records, with the ever-talented songwriter, singer, and dancer Mohombi. As the first artist signed to RedOne's label under Universal Music Group, Mohombi has already gained an immense amount of feedback for his newly released, RedOne produced-single, "Bumpy Ride". Although the song has only been released to select European markets, it is anticipated to blow once it crosses the pond! Aside from "Bumpy Ride" RedOne chose to produce Mohombi's entire album which favors a more rhythmic African vibe than Red's most notable songs.

Assisted by the lovely Nicki Minaj, the tune, released on iTunes on August 3, 2010, has already received an immense amount positive response. Playing off of the widely accepted Mayan calendar beliefs, the uptempo dance track's lyrics encourage partying "like its the end of the world". After hearing this song, we just might do that. RedOne, New Heights Entertainment super producer was personally asked by Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones to produce a modern version of the iconic song "We Are The World" with more than 80 of the world's biggest stars including, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Wyclef Jean, Mary J Blige, T-Pain, Akon, Fergie, Jonas Brothers, Enrique Iglesias, Zac Brown, Jeff Bridges, Will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, Harry Connick, Jr, Natalie Cole, Kanye West, Pink, Jennifer Hudson, Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Usher, among others. This song went to #1 on iTunes and proceeds from the song went to relief efforts in Haiti.
